Is it so hard?

Is it so hard to have the courtesy and the decency to tell your coworker when you are taking off for the entire day? You know you came in for like an hour (who knows why) but then you are leaving and won't be back? Why must you assume that I know these things? I have the courtesy to tell you when I'm going to be off, the same should apply to me.
